I had been having troubles sorting out the circulation from the lounge level to the platform level below, due to the fact that there was an 11m height difference. In order to solve this, the solution was really quite simple. I raised the height of my station, so that it had the same floor to ceiling height as the ticket and lounge levels of my building. Initially I was worried that this would negatively impact on the spacial quality of my platform level and make the space seem less vast and expansive, however this was not the case. I found that the decrease in floor to ceiling height to the roof of my station had the opposite effect, and that my building now seemed wider (which, proportionally it was). This change enabled much better access between my floors, and allowed me to continue on with the development of other areas of my building.
The ramps which connect the ticket level and the lounge level were extended so as to provide a more comfortable ramp angle and a greater viewing platform for when the Falkirk Wheel is in motion. It is expected that many people will watch the pod interchange, so allowing for adequate circulation around the spectators for people in a hurry to catch their train is very important.
