Tianjin West railway station - gmp archtekten

The recently completed Tianjin West railway station is one of a series of new high speed rail stations linking Chinese capital cities. This station has achieved a sense of lightness and openness, qualities which I desire for my building - however being as my proposal is underground, these senses qualities may be harder to achieve. Cavernous and translucent ceilings along with adequate circulation and slightly reflective floor surfaces help to define this space and are all qualities I desire for my building.
