Exemplars

In the development of my design, I began by looking at a number of exemplary projects, both related to infrastructure and underground buildings. The following posts highlight key projects which have influenced my design in some way, whether it be circulation, form, or aesthetic value.


The first of these is cleve[r]land by Influx_Studio. Cleve[r]land was proposed as part of the Connecting Cleveland urban strategy, and integrates a multimodal interchange, along with open public space in a key space of the city, the lake. Light qualities within the space are similar to those I want to achieve in my building, however done through different methods.
